About the role:

We’re looking for a DeFi Growth Lead to drive strategic integrations and partnerships for Aave Protocol, with a particular focus on Aave V4 integrations that empower builders and partners to launch, scale, and innovate with DeFi products leveraging Aave’s modular infrastructure.

You’ll also support expansion into integration partnerships with crypto native partners, wallet providers, CeFi platforms, helping grow the reach of the protocol.

This role sits within the Business Development team at Aave Labs and works cross-functionally across engineering, product, and leadership.

You’ll work closely with the product, engineering, and leadership teams at Aave Labs, helping to drive integrations, coordinate partner pipelines, and support relationship management across the DeFi and CeFi ecosystem.

How you can make an impact:

• Support the execution of Aave V4’s growth strategy through research, partner outreach, and coordination of integrations across DeFi, CeFi, and RWA verticals.
• Identify, prioritize, and lead high-impact integrations that unlock new use cases and grow usage on Aave V4.
• Support the leadership team with business development operations across these verticals - streamlining partner pipelines, coordination, materials, research and project management.
• Collaborate with product and engineering to support partners integrating with Aave or building on top of it. Providing both hands-on project integration support and structured product feedback.
• Monitor DeFi governance forums, market activity, and competitor developments to surface trends and opportunities.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders in the DeFi ecosystem. Represent Aave Labs at major industry events, fostering new opportunities and strengthening existing relationships.
• Work closely with cross-functional team leads, including product, engineering, and marketing, to introduce new offerings to the market.

Let’s connect if you have:

• 3 - 4 years of professional experience in DeFi, fintech, startups, venture, crypto-native projects, or other strategic/operational roles.
• Curiosity and motivation to deeply understand DeFi protocols, stablecoins, and the broader crypto ecosystem.
• Strong organizational and communication skills; comfortable managing multiple workstreams.
• Analytical mindset and the ability to distill technical or strategic complexity into clear next steps.
• Self-starter mentality, with a willingness to roll up your sleeves and grow into new responsibilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Must have a positive, team-oriented attitude.

Nice to haves:

• Exposure to smart contract ecosystems and developer tools.
• Demonstrated product thinking or experience contributing to product strategy, solution design etc.
