Delegated Authority Accountant
Are you an experienced Credit Controller/Technical accountant?
If so, read on! Our esteemed client, a pioneer in the insurance industry, is seeking a diligent and knowledgeable Delegated Authority Accountant to join their finance team on a permanent basis.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Efficiently manage the delegated accounts to ensure they are compliant with relevant regulations.
- To perform monthly reconciliations of premium and claims bordereaux.
- Regular analysis and reporting on financial data related to delegated authorities.
- Work closely with internal stakeholders to enhance financial transparency and accuracy.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry changes and impacts on delegated processes.
- Plan, implement, and monitor the financial processes for insurance transactions under delegated authority.
Key Skills:
- Strong knowledge of Delegated Authority insurance and the terminologies used, across all lines of business.
- Good interpersonal skills - comfortable with phone & face to face discussions with customers, underwriters, brokers & other internal technical staff.
- Aptitude for using financial software and platforms relevant to the insurance industry.
- A good working knowledge and experience of working with Xchanging and London market / subscription market
