Job Description
As a Consultancy Executive, you’ll work across a variety of projects liaising with UK and international higher education providers, external academic contractors and internal subject matter experts to deliver education-based development programmes, workshops and effectiveness reviews to specific parameters and within a fast-paced environment.
You will support the end-to-end delivery of services, mainly remotely online with the occasional opportunity to support projects in person across the UK and Ireland.
Your Main Responsibilities Will Be
- To ensure the end-to-end delivery of allocated consultancy projects, including from time to time, support of member benefit, and open conferences, events and programmes.
- To work with stakeholders (internal and external) to ensure effective and efficient delivery as per agreed timescales, budget and margins, and to high quality/impact standards.
- To adhere to the delivery management framework guidance and operating procedures to ensure products are delivered consistently with high quality outcomes for delegates, clients and institutions.
- To be responsible for identifying and resolving low-level risks and issues that may occur during the delivery of allocated products, escalating as required and supporting with steps and solutions to ensure no recurrence.
- To be responsible for high quality communication to stakeholders and/or associated networks.
- To be responsible for maintaining relevant product knowledge to support marketing and lead generation for the different products and services being delivered.

This is a full-time (35 hours per week), fixed term, hybrid role with nominal office in York or London. The full-time salary for this role is £33,014 per annum.
Job Requirements
If you have a ‘can-do’ attitude that allows for effective working in a high-pressured environment, are a highly effective communicator and project planner, with a collaborative and supporting personal style, then this role is for you.
Your ability to prioritise and juggle several projects concurrently will be key to your success, as will your commitment to high quality stakeholder liaison and customer service provision.
You’ll have experience of delivering your own portfolio of projects or events to a high standard, of managing costs and budgets, and a proven history of successful project oversight. Project management experience will stand you in good stead for this role.

What You Need
- Strong, demonstrable experience of end-to-end project delivery for a variety of projects and programmes with a development focus, including international projects.
- Experience of delivering both in-person and online events or programmes.
- Knowledge and demonstration of project management methodologies.
- Able to demonstrate working with external clients to the most senior levels.
- Experience of delivering projects within budget and margins.
- Financially astute and commercially proficient.
- You are customer focused with a passion for quality, excellence and enhancement in service delivery.
- You are solution-focused with a positive, collaborative approach.
