Capital Maintenance Delivery Manager - North

What you'll do
We are looking for a ‘small schemes' Capital Maintenance Delivery Manager to lead and coordinate a multi-disciplinary engineering team to deliver a programme of planned and reactive small capital maintenance projects in our north division. You will be responsible for ensuring full compliance with all the appropriate legislation and meeting all business objectives within target dates and authorised costs.
Typical day-to-day activities in this role include supporting and inspiring a team of project engineers throughout all stages of delivery. The team consists of project managers, Project Engineers, Project Technicians and trainee posts with varying degrees of experience.
This role will involve regularly reviewing project finances, delivering programme updates to stakeholders, and ensuring appropriate technical reviews, audits and approvals are in place. The value of projects varies between around £15,000 and £350,000. You will be based in the north area covering Bristol, Bath, South Gloucestershire and Wiltshire. The department is technical and projects can include planned pumping station upgrades, the design and installation of inlet screen replacements, reactive emergency wastewater treatment side streams, and clean water treatment process upgrades of varying size and complexity.
