Delivery Manager (Data)

Job Title: Delivery Manager – Data & AI Projects (Contract)

Location: Central London (Hybrid – 3 days onsite per week)

Day Rate: £550–£600 per day (Inside IR35)

The Role:

We are seeking an experienced and technically astute Delivery Manager to lead the end-to-end delivery of a critical data quality automation project within a well-established organisation. This role requires a confident leader who can operate across data governance, enablement, and technology teams to drive successful delivery of complex data initiatives.

You will be responsible for setting up Agile delivery frameworks, building cross-team collaboration, and managing key stakeholder relationships. The ideal candidate will bring proven experience across data transformation, data quality, and ideally AI implementation.

This is a 6-month contract, with a strong likelihood of extension. The successful candidate must be available to start within two weeks and be comfortable spending additional time onsite initially to build relationships with the teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the delivery of data quality and automation initiatives across multiple technical teams
• Set up and implement Agile delivery processes and cadence
• Collaborate with data governance, enablement, and platform engineering teams to bridge delivery gaps
• Engage with key business and technical stakeholders to ensure aligned priorities and delivery outcomes
• Drive simplification, process optimisation, and automation in data workflows
• Provide clear updates and risk management reporting to leadership

Key Experience:

• Proven experience delivering complex data projects in a hands-on Delivery Manager role
• Strong understanding of data quality, cleansing, and automation solutions
• Background in Agile delivery, with the ability to set up and lead Agile ceremonies
• Experience working with AI/ML delivery projects or exposure to AI implementations
• Skilled in stakeholder engagement and influence, particularly in data-centric environments
• Knowledge of data platforms and tools such as Azure, Microsoft Purview, and Great Expectations
• Experience working with regulatory or compliance-related data projects is advantageous
• Ability to start ASAP or within a two-week notice period
