Kelly Group is currently looking to recruit the very best talent and have a unique opportunity for an Experienced Facilities Manager, due to ongoing expansion and operational growth, we are seeking a proactive and organised Manager to oversee our new site in Bristol and support the smooth delivery of day-to-day operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure the efficient and safe operation of the yard, including the organisation of materials, vehicles, tools, and equipment.
- Supervise yard operatives, providing clear instruction and leadership to ensure productivity and high standards.
- Coordinate deliveries and collections, including booking transport and liaising with suppliers.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory, vehicle movements, and stock levels.
- Enforce and uphold site health & safety procedures, carrying out regular inspections and ensuring compliance.
- Manage waste disposal and recycling processes in line with environmental regulations.
- Carry out general maintenance and upkeep of the yard to ensure it remains clean, organised, and operational.
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience in a yard, depot, or logistics management role (telecoms/utilities sector experience desirable).
- Strong leadership and organisational skills with the ability to manage a team and work independently.
- Forklift licence (desirable but not essential - training can be provided).
- Good knowledge of health and safety legislation and best practice.
- Competent with basic IT systems (stock management tools, email, reporting platforms).
- A proactive, problem-solving mindset and a commitment to continuous improvement.
