Role Information
Here at Sciensus a new opportunity has arisen for a Deputy Company Secretary to join us on a 12 month fixed term basis to cover maternity leave.
This is a hybrid working role, coming into the office 2 days a week and will be based from our Paddington office.
Essentially, will be supporting the Company Secretary in the effective and efficient provision of secretariat services, and corporate governance, with exposure to all parts of the business working directly with our company and investor boards to ensure the smooth running of the Company Secretary function.
This all sounds great - What key skills do I need to apply:
Experience of working in a Group Legal Department
Experience of working in an organisation with large group structures and European subsidiaries
Knowledge of working practices of NHS and pharmaceutical companies
Ideally Degree in Business, Administration, Law, Management or similar discipline
Knowledge of company law and practice applicable to the company secretariat function
Experience Of Working In a Company Secretarial Function
Experienced of taking minutes at board level and preparing and distributing board papers and actions.
Highly developed verbal and written communication abilities
Excellent organisational, time management and prioritisation skills
Ability to troubleshoot and provide solutions with sound judgement
Proven ability to multi-task to deliver in a dynamic environment
