Greensleeves Care are recruiting for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to be part of the team at Gloucester House Nursing Home! We provide award-winning care in a loving and friendly environment. Situated just a few minutes from Sevenoaks town centre, in a quiet residential area, close to Knole Golf Club, the home has been completely refurbished to a high standard of decor.

As a Deputy Home Manager, You Will

  • Ensure that high standards of care are delivered to meet the needs of the individual resident, to monitor and maintain these standards. Ensuring that residents’ physical, emotional and social needs are identified and met through assessment and care planning. Ensuring that residents maintain their dignity, choice and individuality.
  • Help to control the issue of drugs for which the Home has taken responsibility, to maintain the necessary records and to ensure the accuracy and reliability of the systems for administering medication.
  • Lead, manage and develop the work of the staff team, under the supervision of the Registered Manager, by setting objectives and supervising staff. Carry out appraisals and ensure development needs are met through appropriate training and staff development programmes
  • Liaise, as required with Health and Local Authorities, voluntary and community organisations for the benefit of residents and staff.
  • Assist the Registered Manager and Home Administrator / Book Keeper in the effective and efficient running of the home, including budgetary control.

To Apply, You Will Need

  • Nursing qualification and current PIN Number.
  • Experience of managing staff in a Nursing Home or similar environment
  • Ability to supervise and monitor staff.
  • Ability to evaluate the level of service provided to residents.
