Working closely under the guidance of the Ultrasound Lead, you will play a vital role in supporting ultrasound services across a range of sites, including both acute and community-based settings.

Main duties of the job

Deputised responsibility for the management of the Ultrasound service and Sonographers providing clinical leadership

Ensure the delivery of a high quality, safe and responsive service

Perform a wide range of Ultrasound examinations at expert level

Develop the team practice to a high standard

Ensure the quality of work is audited at all stages

Maintains the high standards of the department by contributing to individual and team objectives
