Deputy Team Leader Worksop
Location: Carlton in Lindrick
Essential Recruitment is proud to be working in partnership with Vernacare to recruit three Deputy Team Leaders for a brand-new department based in Carlton in Lindrick.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing company with a long-standing workforce, contributing to the production of medical devices in a sterile, cleanroom manufacturing environment. You will be supporting the Team Leader and ensuring that operations meet the strict quality, safety, and service standards expected by Vernacare and its healthcare partners, including the NHS.

Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and maintain the smooth running of the production line
- Ensure products are manufactured to required quality and quantity standards
- Keep production areas tidy and organised
- Complete and maintain all relevant paperwork accurately
- Supervise a small team of 8 operatives
- Share key updates with the team, including company policies and developments
- Promote a productive, positive working environment
- Assemble medical products and heat-sealed items
- Operate within a sterile cleanroom environment
- Cover Team Leader duties when they are off-site
Ideal Candidate Will Have
- Background in manufacturing
- Previous experience in a team leader or supervisory role
- Experience with injection moulding and/or heat-seal packing
- Ability to manage and motivate a small team
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping
- Flexibility and adaptability across different production functions
- Willingness to work in a cleanroom environment
Shifts & Salary
- 1x Night Shift Position £28,726 per annum
- 2x Day/Afters Rotation Positions £29,975 per annum
