We're looking for a Design Manager to join our Building Solutions North team based in Sheffield.
Location: Sheffield, covering North of England – remote working available, with occasional travel to the office required
Hours: 40 hours a week
What will you be responsible for?
As a Design Manager, you'll be working within the Building Solutions North team, supporting them in delivering high-quality construction and refurbishment projects across the North of England.
Your Day To Day Will Include
- Managing and coordinating the delivery of all aspects of design across pre-construction and construction phases
- Leading the design team and supply chain to ensure timely and compliant information delivery
- Supporting bid teams with optimal design and buildability strategies
- Ensuring compliance with CDM Regulations, Building Safety Act, and BIM standards
- Collaborating with commercial and operational teams to align design with project goals
What are we looking for?
This role of Design Manager is great for you if:
- You hold construction qualifications (minimum HND/HNC/T Level or equivalent)
- You have experience working on refurbishment schemes up to £15m and knowledge of frameworks and two-stage tenders
- You possess strong working knowledge of building regulations, Building Safety Act, and BIM processes (ISO 19650)
