Design Manager

Our client, a leading multidisciplinary practice with a strong reputation for delivering large-scale, complex projects, is seeking an experienced Design Manager to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and detail-driven professional to take ownership of the design process, coordinate stakeholders, and ensure exceptional project delivery from concept through to completion.

The ideal candidate will have a background working as an Architect, ideally on large-scale projects. Candidates with experience working on healthcare projects will be highly valued, though candidates from any large-scale project background must still apply. You will also have proven ability managing client relationships positively, strong coordination abilities and experience negotiating fees and contracts.

Your role will involve

• Preparing and managing design programmes
• Preparing fee proposals
• Managing sub-consultants appointments and negotiations
• Leading tender processes
• Monitoring cashflow, invoicing and resource allocations
• Leading the development of design work through project timelines
• Coordination of multiple disciplines
• Maintaining strong client relationships
• Ensure all deliverables and scope align with project requirements and documentation standards.
