Belcan Workforce Solutions is seeking an experienced Design Authoriser to join a dynamic team supporting critical aerospace projects. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on high-profile programmes, delivering innovative engineering solutions that ensure product integrity and operational excellence.

As a Design Authoriser, you will play a pivotal role in leading design investigations, approving technical solutions, and ensuring compliance with airworthiness and safety standards. You’ll be part of a fast-paced environment where collaboration and technical leadership are key to success.

What You’ll Be Doing

Lead and authorise design solutions for major and minor modifications.
Provide technical leadership and mentoring to engineering teams.
Ensure design standards and requirements are met, liaising with multiple stakeholders.
Operate as a recognised design signatory with industry-approved delegation.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and capability.

What We’re Looking For

Proven experience as a Design Authoriser with structural expertise.
Industry-recognised design signatory delegation (Design Approval/Authorisation).
Previous aerospace experience – Airbus background highly desirable.
Ability to deliver on time, cost, and quality while embracing change.
Strong communication and problem-solving skills with an innovative mindset.

Role Details

Location: Broughton or Filton (Hybrid requirement, 60% onsite minimum).
Contract: Until 31/12/2026, with potential extension.
Hours: 35 per week (flexible within 7am–7pm).
Rate: Up to £52.00 per hour (Umbrella or PAYE equivalent).
Security: BPSS+ clearance required.
