We at Coforge are seeking “Desktop Support Engineer” with the following skill-set:


Job Overview

  • Provide hands-on technical support for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers, and other peripherals.
  • Troubleshoot hardware and software issues, including operating systems (Windows/macOS), applications, and network connectivity.
  • Install, configure, and maintain IT equipment and software.
  • Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights in active directory and other systems.
  • Collaborate with remote IT teams to escalate and resolve complex issues.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of support activities, asset inventory, and technical procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with company IT policies and security standards.
  • Support video conferencing systems and meeting room technologies.
  • Assist with onboarding/offboarding of employees, including equipment setup and recovery.


Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in deskside or IT support roles.
  • Strong knowledge of windows and macOS operating systems.
  • Familiarity with active directory, microsoft 365, and remote support tools.
  • Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
  • Excellent troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
