Job Overview
- Provide hands-on technical support for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers, and other peripherals.
- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues, including operating systems (Windows/macOS), applications, and network connectivity.
- Install, configure, and maintain IT equipment and software.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights in active directory and other systems.
- Collaborate with remote IT teams to escalate and resolve complex issues.
- Maintain accurate documentation of support activities, asset inventory, and technical procedures.
- Ensure compliance with company IT policies and security standards.
- Support video conferencing systems and meeting room technologies.
- Assist with onboarding/offboarding of employees, including equipment setup and recovery.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience in deskside or IT support roles.
- Strong knowledge of windows and macOS operating systems.
- Familiarity with active directory, microsoft 365, and remote support tools.
- Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
- Excellent troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
