Sefton is a hidden gem on the Northwest coast home to golden beaches, dramatic dunes, world-class art (Anthony Gormleys "Another Place), vibrant towns like Southport and Crosby, and the serene beauty of Formbys pinewoods. As we grow our visitor economy, we need a visionary Destination Marketing Executive to showcase Seftons stories and help drive ticket sales for major events such as The Southport Air Show while working with colleagues across our tourism venues such as Southport Market and Salt and Tar.

Youll work on the development and delivery of innovative marketing campaigns that boost Seftons profile as a must-visit destination. Working closely with tourism partners, businesses, and the Major Events team, youll inspire visitors to explore our coastline, culture, and attend our events.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategy & Campaigns Help create and execute data-driven destination marketing plans targeting key audiences (leisure, events, business tourism).
- Digital Leadership - Manage Seftons destination website/social media channels (SEO, content, paid ads), growing engagement and conversion.
- Partnership Building - Collaborate with hotels, attractions, media, and industry bodies on joint campaigns.
- Content Creation - Oversee compelling content (video, blogs, photography) that captures Seftons unique experiences.
- Performance Tracking - Monitor KPIs (web traffic, social engagement, visitor spend) and report on ROI.
- Market Insight- Research trends, visitor behaviour, and competitor activity to inform strategy.
