About This Opportunity

Cumberland Council is seeking an organised and proactive Development Assistant to join the Active Cumbria team�a dynamic partnership dedicated to improving health and wellbeing through increased participation in sport and physical activity across the region. In this varied role, you�ll support the delivery of programmes, events, and services, while helping to manage communications, data systems, and customer engagement.

We�re looking for someone with strong IT skills, excellent communication abilities, and a good understanding of service procedures. If you�re passionate about community wellbeing, enjoy working collaboratively, and want to be part of a team that values inclusivity and continuous improvement, we�d love to hear from you.

This role is available on a fixed-term basis.
