Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Development Engineer Turbochargers at Wabtec Corporation located in Lincoln UK.The Development Engineer will be responsible for working on research and development projects, software development, and programming related to turbochargers. Daily tasks include designing, testing, and improving turbocharger systems and components, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Qualifications
- Skills in Research and Development (R&D)
- Experience in Software Development and Programming
- Competency in Testing and Electronics
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
- Experience in the automotive or transportation industry is a plus
