We're looking for a Product Development Lead to join our team on a 6-month fixed-term contract. In this role, you will lead the design and development of vocational teaching and learning products, including qualifications, assessments, and digital/print content that meets the needs of learners, educators, and regulatory bodies across international markets.

We're looking for a Product Development Lead to join our team on a 6-month fixed-term contract. In this role, you will lead the design and development of vocational teaching and learning products, including qualifications, assessments, and digital/print content that meets the needs of learners, educators, and regulatory bodies across international markets.
What You'll Be Doing
- Design and develop qualifications and assessments that are innovative, compliant, and commercially sound
- Gather and apply customer and market insights to shape product strategy
- Lead virtual teams and external experts to deliver projects on time, to budget, and with impact
- Collaborate with colleagues across Pearson to support product implementation and lifecycle management
- Champion a learner- and customer-first approach in everything you do
- Degree-level qualification (or equivalent experience)
- Deep understanding of the education and qualifications landscape (UK and/or international)
- Experience in qualification and/or assessment design and development
- Strong project management and stakeholder engagement skills
- A strategic mindset with the ability to balance commercial goals and compliance
- Teaching experience
- Experience in vocational or technical education sectors
- Background in designing teaching and learning resources
- Budget management experience
