DevOps Engineer

We are looking for a DevOps Engineer who will be responsible for the successful delivery of our solutions for our customers using Infrastructure-as-Code based on Terraform, containerised applications, and Kafka. This involves a good understanding of the existing infrastructures, being a proactive problem solver and introducing improvements required by application architecture changes.

We embrace modern methodologies with self-managed teams utilising Kanban or Scrum as an overarching agile practice. We value diversity and aim to create an open and collaborative working environment where we work within and across teams to deliver successful solutions to our customers.

Experience in Financial Services would be a bonus.

• Exceptional record of delivering observable cloud solutions from inception to production, working hands-on throughout the process.
• Passionate about the adoption of cloud native architecture in engineering teams.
• A strong understanding and experience of how to deploy and manage Kafka in production
• Understanding of how to provision a secure, highly available Kafka cluster architectures.
• A passion for using config as code and eliminating click-ops from an organization.
• Strong technical problem-solving skills and collaborates effectively with development teams.
• Strong communication, task management and leadership skills.
