About the Role

Wipro is looking for a DevOps Engineering Tech Lead to join our engineering community in Sheffield. As a DevOps Engineering Tech Lead, you will lead the development and delivery of cloud-native platforms, with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) as the primary cloud environment and AWS used as a supporting platform. You will work closely with DevOps, cloud, and application teams to build, automate, and support scalable container-based solutions that underpin critical services.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and manage container platforms hosted primarily on Google Cloud Platform, with AWS as a secondary cloud
Build and operate OpenShift Container Platform Virtualization (OCPV) environments

Automate cloud and platform infrastructure using Ansible

Develop and maintain Python automation for monitoring, integration, and tooling

Collaborate with DevOps, cloud, and application teams to deliver scalable cloud solutions

Troubleshoot and resolve issues across cloud platforms, containers, and automation

Document platform designs, configurations, and engineering best practices
