DevOps Engineer

We are looking for a talented
DevOps Engineer to join our team in Leicester and play a key role in our technology transformation. You will be central to migrating our on-premises platforms to the cloud, working closely with our development teams, and providing expertise in cloud environments to help shape scalable, secure, and modern solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the migration of on-premises platforms into cloud-based environments.
- Collaborate with Development teams to design, implement, and support CI/CD pipelines.
- Automate infrastructure, builds, and releases using Infrastructure-as-Code and scripting tools.
- Deploy and manage containerized and microservices-based applications.
- Monitor and optimize application, server, and service performance.
- Support both Windows and Linux environments to ensure stability and scalability.
Technologies You’ll Work With
- Infrastructure as Code: Terraform
- CI/CD & Automation: Azure DevOps (on-premises & cloud), automated builds & releases
- Containers & Orchestration: Docker, Kubernetes, Helm charts, microservices
- Code Quality & Monitoring: SonarQube, monitoring tools for applications/servers/services
- Scripting: PowerShell
- Databases & Servers: SQL Server, Windows & Linux servers
- Development Stack: Microsoft .NET Framework, .NET Core, ASP.NET Core, C#, TFS
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar role.
- Strong background in cloud migration and cloud-based environments.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation, and scripting.
- Knowledge of containerization, orchestration, and application monitoring.
- Ability to work effectively with both Windows and Linux servers.
- Strong problem-solving skills and collaborative mindset.
