Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Obstetric, Gyne & General Health Specialist Sonographer based in Plymouth in Cornwall. The specialist will perform diagnostic ultrasound scans, including 2D and 4D imaging and gender confirmations, ensuring the health, safety, and comfort of expectant parents and their babies. Responsibilities include generating and reviewing medical reports, demonstrating technical expertise with ultrasound equipment, and maintaining a compassionate and professional approach when interacting with clients and colleagues.

Qualifications

• Proficient in obstetric and gynecological care
• Experience in general health scans
• Credentials in HCPC, RCT or ARDMS
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for compassionate patient care
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented clinical environment
• Commitment to maintaining regulatory compliance and upholding high standards of medical ethics
