Priory Hospital Southampton are looking for Dietitian to join the team on a full time basis working 37.5 hours week. You will be working on the eating disorder unit.
Set within beautiful, landscaped gardens, Priory Hospital Southampton’s tranquil environment offers therapeutic and recovery-focused residential treatment for those suffering from a number of mental health conditions. We can support adult males and females with acute mental health needs, as well as eating disorders.
What you'll be doing:
You will be part of a compassionate team who are committed to our patients wellbeing. We take a personalised approach, using proven therapies to help people move forward with confidence and build a healthier, more fulfilling future. You will play a key part in their recovery, assisting qualified staff with the assessment and implementation of individual patient care plans, undertaking routine tasks and activities as directed or delegated to facilitate wellbeing, dignity and treatment of patients

What you'll bring to the role:

The candidate should be skilled in nutritional assessment, meal planning, and counselling for complex medical and psychological needs. Experience working within multidisciplinary teams is essential. Strong communication, empathy, and the ability to support patients through recovery are highly valued, along with a commitment to evidence-based practice and ongoing research.
A degree in dietetics or nutrition together with a relevant post-graduate qualification in relevant specialism.
The role holder must be HPC registered and a member of a relevant professional institution.
