Job Overview

PLEASE NOTE THAT WE WILL ONLY ACCEPT APPLICATIONS FROM STAFF CURRENTLY EMPLOYED BY ANEURIN BEVAN UNIVERSITY HEALTH BOARD

The principal objective for the post is to assist in the modernisation of health service delivery, promoting new ways of working utilising

information technology to improve access to clinical information and knowledge to enhance shared decision-making regarding patient

care.

Main duties of the job

The aim of the digitisation programme is to improve patient care, experience and outcomes through the development of high-quality

information, systems and technologies, applying the ‘Once for Wales’ principles.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.

This is a secondment post until 31 March 2026 to cover the needs of the service.

Qualifications And Knowledge

Essential criteria

  • Registered Nurse
  • Education to BSc
  • Digital Health or project related experience

Desirable criteria

  • Educated to MSc

Experience

  • Post registration experience
  • Experience of applying Health and Care Standards
  • Experience of Quality Assurance and Audit

Desirable criteria

  • Teaching Experience
  • Experience of Change Management

Skills and Attributes

  • Good Communication
  • Evidence of MDT working
  • Computer literate including Office and Excel
