About the role
Balfour Beatty has an exciting opportunity for a Digital Delivery Engineer to join our growing team.
Base location is Flexible. UK wide travel required when required
What you'll be doing
- Support the Digital Delivery Manager (DDM) to implement the Project Information Management Plan and Digital Execution Plan and all documents to meet the Customer Requirements in the Employer Information Requirements
- Support the Project Team in the delivery of Graphical, Non-Graphical and Documents as an information author
- Support the DDM to educate people, implement Group Digital Minimum Standards and use technology during project delivery; and to develop model(s) with data integrated into the design, construction and facilities operation/maintenance all in accordance with the Project Execution Plan.
- Support with the educating the project team and supply chain members for the use and development of the Project Information Model Graphical and Non Graphical (3D Model)
- Support the Project team to implement processes/culture/technology so:
- It can be used during project delivery and aid in reviewing potential conflicts. Work with the team in resolving the issues
- The Programme can be linked to the Detailed Design Model i.e. 4D for Construction and own/support
- The costs can be linked to the Model i.e. 5D for Construction and own/support
- An As-Built model is created for Handover and Commissioning and own/support
- The Asset Information/data can be linked to the model producing a 6D Model for Handover and Commissioning own/support i.e Generating/Managing Asbuilt
information
- Digital Site Management Techniques / mobile tech is facilitate - Research, develop, implement, review new ways of working which will benefit the project by increasing efficiency, reducing cost, improve quality, sustainability and aiming for Zero Harm Collate data for senior management revie
- Facilitate 3D coordination meetings with Internal and external project partners
- Demonstrate the Balfour Beatty Core behaviours
- Collaborate relentlessly
- Ensure a relentless focus on Zero Harm
- Promote the Benefits of Digital Project Delivery in the processes of 4d,4d,5d,6d to others
- Facilitate the process of the Digital Coordination between project participants
Who we're looking for
- Understanding BIM Level 2 standards and Protocols
- Support the project time in the delivery of the graphical model and drawings graphical and non-graphical data in line with the BEP
- Experience with AutoCAD
- Working Knowledge of Project CDE Environment
