Role Overview
Mountain Warehouse's eCommerce business is a high growth, international operation that significantly contributes to total group revenue via direct-to-consumer websites, third-party marketplaces and digital concessions. We’re looking for a highly organised and strategic Digital Innovation, Insight and Transformation Lead to play a critical role in scaling our online business.
The successful candidate will have a hands-on role delivering our eCommerce expansion strategy by supporting new, innovative ways to drive profitable growth to our existing businesses, streamline our operations and enhance our customer experience.
We’re looking for a bright, analytical and ambitious individual to build their career with us. This role is well suited to a structured thinker who can deliver across a wide-ranging brief, sometimes to tight deadlines. It will be varied and no two days the same.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a hands-on, commercially-focused role with real autonomy and responsibility in a growing business area.
Key Responsibilities
- Accelerate cross team digital-first initiatives from inception to implementation
- Partner with senior stakeholders to assess current processes, identify gaps, and design improved workflows and systems.
- Rapidly shape thinking in new business areas by assessing risks, benefits, competitive dynamics and key commercial or operational levers
- Develop and manage project plans, timelines, budgets, and success metrics for change initiatives.
- Drive performance improvements through data-driven insights, continuous improvement methodologies, and close cross-functional collaboration.
- Build effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
We Would Like To Meet Someone Who Is
- 5+ years of experience in eCommerce operations, online retail or transformation roles.
- Knowledge and experience of project management methodologies and lifecycles
- Proven success driving operational improvements and leading transformation projects in high-growth environments.
- Experience driving performance improvements through data-driven insights, continuous improvement methodologies, and close cross-functional collaboration.
- Strong data analysis skills with advanced knowledge of MS Excel (and/or SQL)
- Outstanding problem solving capabilities
- Strong project management and stakeholder communication skills.
- The ability to effectively prioritise and multi-task while working autonomously
- A background in strategic change, management consulting, or project delivery would be highly beneficial for success in this role.
- Knowledge of retail marketplace operations is desirable
