Well, what about the team?
As a Digital Media Manager you’ll be managing a team of 3+ and working closely alongside the Head of Paid Media to ensure the effective running of our campaigns and implementation of our overall acquisition strategy.
The Paid Media team sits within the Acquisition & Digital team. Our primary focus is to acquire new players to each of the websites and apps that sit within Bally’s Interactive’s UK portfolio. In addition, we also support in the planning and buying for upper funnel campaigns and campaigns that target existing customers in paid environments. We are a highly ambitious team and are always striving for the best performance possible using the most efficient processes. Working as a team and in collaboration with the leading companies in this continuously evolving sector we learn, we share, and we grow together.
You will lead a team responsible for planning, executing, optimising, and analysing campaigns across various paid media channels, including social, programmatic (display and native), video, and direct buys. A comprehensive understanding of these channels and their impact on overall acquisition activity is essential. We are particularly seeking someone with a strong background in Programmatic (Display and Native) and app networks as this is a key focus area for growth in 2025.
So, what will you be doing?
- Monitoring our Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC) across Paid Media for a selection of brands ensuring this is in line with acquisition-wide targets.
- Formulating, communicating, and executing Acquisition campaign strategy, with a specific focus on our Programmatic (Display and Native) campaigns and app networks.
- Maintaining existing 3rd party relationships (publishers, partners, agencies) and create new ones, to help optimise and enhance our campaigns.
- Negotiating deals with media owners/publishers/providers.
- Guiding the team on troubleshooting live campaigns and be an ambassador for data-driven decisions.
- Ensuring accuracy of the reporting of campaign results.
- Collaborating across the whole Acquisition & Digital team to share knowledge, and pinpoint when information will be useful to other departments.
- Working with the design team to ensure creative work is correctly prioritised and meets the campaign needs.
- Keeping up to date with the latest developments in the industry and understand how these will affect our campaigns.
- Ensuring every live creative and landing page is compliant with the latest regulations from the governing bodies for each territory, as well as the ASA and CAP code in the UK.
- Managing a team of 3+, including conducting annual performance and development reviews with each team member.
- Training new team members to a high standard.
- Mentoring and support current team in both their day-to-day roles as well as their personal and professional development.
- Creating a positive can-do atmosphere within the team and motivate them to reach, or exceed, our marketing targets.
- Reviewing tools used by the team to ensure they are suitable, effective, and meet the team’s needs.
- Ensuring timely distribution of information within the team to keep everyone up to date with priorities.
And what are we looking for?
- Possess experience running and optimising Programmatic (Display and Native) campaigns.
- Have people management experience, ideally of a team of 2+.
- Possess working knowledge of Programmatic advertising platforms, Google Campaign Manager or similar ad server, and AppsFlyer or similar mobile measurement platform.
- Have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Be highly focused, organised, and proactive with the ability to motivate a team.
- Have excellent knowledge of Excel and pivot tables
- Be a data driven decision maker.
- Have strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Have the ability and desire to continually drive process improvement.
