WGM have an opportunity for a Digital operations analyst to join the business on a full-time permanent basis working within our Glasgow office on a hybrid working capacity. Reporting to a Business Analyst, who has developed a range of tools to support the business, the Digital operations analyst will be responsible for maintaining and updating the data that drives these various tools, solutions and dashboards used throughout the business, the digital operations analyst will be trained and supported to develop new tools for the business using MS Apps and Services, Power BI etc.
Main Duties And Responsibilities
- Data collation: Gathering relevant data from various sources at specific periods (weekly, monthly), to enable smooth updating of dashboards and other management information.
- Data visualisation: Integrating datasets for visualization in charts and graphs.
- Data cleansing: Where necessary, preparing and cleansing data to ensure accuracy in reporting and the smooth operation of tools
- Liaison with users: Support users in their use of data and related tools.
- Liaison with third-party providers: For example, when changes are required to systems supplied by third parties.
- Development of new tools: With training and support from other team members, develop new tools and solutions using MS Apps and Services, and Power BI.
To be considered for this position you will be degree level qualified within an analytical based subject and have 1-2 years previous experience working with data, visualisation, reporting etc. The ideal candidate will have excellent problem-solving skills and well as good attention to detail, previous experience of analytics and a proficiency using Excel is essential for the position.
