The Opportunity:
Ashurst Advance Digital is the firm's technology and digital experience powerhouse. We work within our New Law business to develop differentiated services for our clients, whilst embedding digital as a competency for the whole firm through developing and enabling future-fit tools, capabilities and mindsets.
We believe the role offers the right candidate a chance to join a team at an exciting stage of expansion to:
- orchestrate and support the Ashurst Advance Digital ( AAD ) Practice Heads and Directors (the " AAD Leadership ") in setting up the new practice group and establishing ways of working , governance frameworks and operational procedures to ensure that th e practice is well placed to achieve its objectives and deliver maximum value ;
- m anage the overall shape, strategy, prioritisation and resourcing across the AAD portfolio and practice to include a range of products, programmes, projects, initiatives and client matter work; and
- foster and maintain strategic alignment between the members of AAD Leadership to enable them to define, maintain and deliver value through the AAD portfolio and work effectively with broader firmwide stakeholders to drive the realisation of the firm's Digital Data and Technology ( DDaT ) strategy.
About you:
- Minimum 7 years of experience managing programmes, projects or complex initiatives.
- Advanced organisational and influencing skills, flexibility of style, attention to detail and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, high pressured yet detail-oriented environment.
- Experience of both agile and waterfall project methodologies.
- Excellent people skills with a track record of establishing and maintaining effective relationships with stakeholders at all levels
- High degree of initiative and independent judgment with excellent troubleshooting, decision-making and follow-through skills
- Experience in digital transformation or technology-driven environments.
