Job Description
Reporting directly to the site Team Leader, you will be required to deliver an effective and efficient printing and distribution service to various business areas within agreed service levels. Working across the whole Elmsall warehouse complex, Preferably experience would be preferred but if not you will be provided with training if required.
You will be responsible for ensuring the printer estate located within the packing stations is maintained with paper stock and consumables to support the Warehouse in producing all Despatch Notes & supporting documents in a timely manner.
Daily refresh of stocks, routine maintenance and both proactive and reactive management of the printer fleet using Print Management software fall within the remit of this role.
This role operates on a shift basis of 3 days on, 3 days off and may cover weekends depending on when the shifts fall. The hours are 6am-6pm.
Criteria
- You’ll have previous experience within a similar role and ideally have knowledge of Print Management Software
- You’ll be able to work own your initiative, have excellent communication skills and be flexible in your working approach to allow for busy peak sales periods
- Whilst being a strong team player you’ll also be able to demonstrate the ability to work on your own initiative without direct supervision
- To be successful in this role you must have a full driving license and access to a car
- This role would suit someone who enjoys an active role as you will always be on the go
- Warehouse batches to strict Service Level Agreements in place.
- Adhering to strict Print Quality checks that are in place.
- Preventative Maintenance to printers to ensure reliable operation.
Essential
- Ability to cope under pressure.
- Basic computer skills in particularGoogle Sheets, Docs and Gmail
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
- Ability to work as a member of a team and or with little supervision
- Attention to detail.
Communication
- Updating all paperwork with precise, accurate and legible information.
- Monitoring and rotating stock levels and placement.
- Escalate issues all issues through correct channels.
- Ability to liaise with 3 rd parties to monitor and inform of problems and working through to resolve.
- Assist Team Leaders/Senior Operators in collating, recording and feeding information to Management team in forms or weekly and monthly reports.
