The Projects Team manages and delivers IT projects within both national and local programmes of work and EPR / Business Programmes.
It is a really exciting to be part of the digital transformation within UHP and Devon as we near the implementation of a full Electronic Patient Record across Devon. This will herald new benefits to all users an patients across our diverse county spanning 3 acute Trusts.
The scope of projects varies depending of the needs of the Trust and its aligned partners and can range greatly in scope and focus.
Project Managers directly control a number of projects some may be complex and large-scale, but all remain focussed on the operational delivery of efficient, effective patient care.
This role will directly support the delivery of the EPR across all locations in Devon, and be based out of the digital team in Plymouth.
Where possible, there is potential for this role to be made permanent on the basis of applicable funding and support.

The role will focus on key deliverables within an identified workstream of the EPR Programme and require rapid understanding of technologies and operational behaviours to ensure that delivery of tangible outputs are released in a timely fashion for all stakeholders.
Project planning and delivery are key activities within this role, and the building of great relationships across specialties and though 3 Trusts will be paramount. Due to the nature of this role working within a county-wide environment, there will be a requirement to attend face-to-face meetings in other locations through the county, so some consideration to this should be given.

This role will require the post holder to rapidly understand a project requirement and translate that into tanglible deliverables at pace to maintan a delivery cadence within a large programme. This will involve, but is not llimited to
Managing and delivering complex projects and project stages with conflicting and competing pressures on the workload and team including dealing with the mixed expectations of customers.
Ensuring suppliers meet agreed targets and milestones for deliverables.
The role will require a high degree of communications skills, particularly the ability to gain credibility and confidence of multidisciplinary staff form clinical and non-clinical teams, and across multiple different Trusts.
