Digital Surveyor

Do you have experience in surveying or digital capture, and an interest in property and architecture? Do you have a passion for photography, or like collecting visual information? Have you used a Matterport scanner (or something similar) before? Do you have a full clean driving licence and enjoy driving to see new places, meet new people and visit cool houses?

We are Resi, the UK’s largest home extension company, and we are looking for a surveyor to join our in-house Surveying team on a full-time permanent basis.

We are looking for someone who has some experience in surveying residential properties. We will train you on how to use our laser surveying technology and we will give you a Resi car to travel to site in. Using our Matterport scanners, you will be instrumental in capturing the current measurements, footprint and design of our clients properties, which we will use to design our extensions and renovations. Our client base covers London and the rest of the UK, meaning you’ll be driving around London and also getting the chance to travel out and see other parts of the country too when required.

Job Responsibilities

• Driving a Resi car to clients’ homes to conduct laser surveys of properties
• Collecting site details and information
• The safe, professional and effective use of our scanning equipment
• Provide great customer service while on-site with clients
• Processing the survey data in office
• Support and collaborate with the wider design teams with survey information

We Are Looking For Someone With

• Experience in Surveying or an adjacent field
• A full clean driving licence (essential!)
• Confidence and experience driving in and around London
• A willingness to travel out to other parts of the UK for projects
• A customer focused and positive attitude
• A keen eye for detail
• A responsible nature, able to responsibly handle Resi equipment (scanner and car)
• A willingness to learn, adapt and provide solutions.

Resi are a team of ~70 people based in the heart of Oval, South London. We have a hybrid work set up where we operate three days in the office (Monday, Tuesday and Thursday) and two days from home (Wednesday and Friday).
