In the role of Digital Team Lead, we'll count on you to:
- Manage BIM efforts on large and complex projects, to maintain a consistent approach for project setup and delivery
- Maximize efficiencies and minimize liability with an increased understanding of the program requirements
- Maintain and improve relationships with our internal and external clients is imperative and this individual will focus on mastering the digital delivery for these clients
- Have an extensive background with Digital Delivery and is respected by their peers as an industry leader
- Provide direction for the Digital Delivery Coordinators and Specialists, along with managing the digital model environment and deliverables at the project level
- Possess an advanced understanding of how all disciplines interact and construction documents are produced
- Work directly with the Project Manager to generate and maintain the Digital Delivery Plan (DDP) and project initiation procedure, establishing the server infrastructure, discipline models, and digital deliverables outlined in the project scope
- Oversee digital execution on large and complex projects and programs, as well as improve the consistency of the project digital deliverables
- Engage with the Digital Design & Delivery Program to provide input on initiatives, elevate issues, and develop protocols for their program
- Provide guidance to the Coordinators and Specialists assisting with the digital deliverables and supporting the production team throughout the project duration
- Maintain quality, this individual will monitor the model health and coordination processes of the project, from the planning phase thru construction
- Develop and maintain the Digital Delivery Plan (DDP)
- Establish the document management system and maintain the server infrastructure for multi-discipline projects
- Ensure the team has the appropriate software, versions, access, and training needed to execute the project requirements
- Generate and maintain model setup including project information, coordinates, scales, orientations, scope boundaries, match-lines, views, sheets, and general models, to accommodate the disciplines and project requirements
- Monitor and maintain company standards and model health
- Host Digital Delivery coordination meetings with the Digital Design team to ensure optimal quality control through Design Reviews and 3D Coordination processes
- Communicate, coordinate, and compile all project digital deliverables and exchange process at predetermined milestones
- Project archiving at submittals and closeout
- Engage in close and effective communication and presentations with HDR management, production staff, and clients
- Mentor staff to help develop their skillsets
- Engagement with the Digital Business Class contributing to initiatives to help improve workflows and awareness
- Work with local area leadership to staff projects and provide input on project needs.
- Provide guidance for Project Managers to support project needs
- Engage with other Digital Delivery Program Leads to provide support and guidance.
- Develop workflows to improve efficiency, maintain quality, and create automation for project delivery
