An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Direct Payments Team as a Direct Payment Administrator. This role is essential in ensuring individuals receiving Direct Payments understand how to independently arrange flexible care services that meet their needs while complying with the relevant terms and conditions.
Based at County Hall, Haverfordwest, with flexible hybrid working options, you will play a key role in supporting the smooth operation of the Direct Payment administration service and assisting the team in fulfilling service delivery requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide guidance and support to Direct Payment recipients, empowering them to manage their care services effectively.
- Ensure compliance with Direct Payment policies and procedures.
- Assist with administrative tasks, maintaining accurate records and processing payments.
- Collaborate with colleagues and external stakeholders to facilitate a seamless service.
- Respond to queries from service users, carers, and professionals, offering clear and accurate information.
About You
We are looking for a proactive and organised individual with excellent communication skills. You will have:
- Experience in an administrative or customer service role, preferably within a social care or financial environment.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in IT systems, including Microsoft Office applications.
