Director Cyber Security Operations (SOC)

I’m partnering with a global organisation that’s redefining how cyber security underpins business resilience. They’re looking for a Director of Cyber Security Operations (SOC) to lead the evolution of their SecOps function into an engineering driven cyber defence centre with automation at its core.

Reporting directly to the Group CISO, you’ll be shaping a security model that balances strong central governance with local autonomy. This role is ideal for someone experienced in environments with a small but highly capable cyber capability working alongside an industry‑leading MSSP. This role is offering the chance to collaborate across a global remit, ideal for someone used to working with stakeholders and business units across different cultures and time zones. Success will mean influencing both federated and centralised environments, guiding stakeholders through change, and driving transformational impact at scale.

What You’ll Bring

• A proven track record of delivering meaningful security transformation
• Experience working across global, federated, and centralised structures
• Strong expertise in automation and engineering-led security operations, with hands-on experience leading automation initiatives
• The ability to influence, engage, and guide stakeholders through change
• Demonstrated leadership and a passion for developing high-performing technical teams

The Details

• Salary: Up to £120,000 base
• Bonus: 30%
• Car Allowance: £6,000
• Location: West London – Hybrid
