The UK practice works with healthcare companies and organisations to help them deliver impact through their policy and public affairs programmes. Our work includes helping clients understand the NHS policy landscape, advising on strategy development, implementing targeted engagement programmes, building coalitions, and developing proposals for policy change.
We are currently looking for a senior health policy expert and leader to join our UK practice team as a Director. This is an exciting role in a dynamic consultancy team, working with a range of health industry clients to make the case for the government and NHS to adopt innovation-friendly policies that improve outcomes for patients, working across areas including cardiometabolic health, cancer, rare diseases, medical technology, infectious diseases and vaccines.
We are looking for someone with 10+ years’ experience in healthcare policy, ideally including consultancy, who has a track record of driving policy change in the NHS and unlocking barriers to access to new technologies and medicines.
Job Responsibilities
As a member of the senior leadership team, you will work with a highly talented team of 20+ consultants in the London practice team to deliver programmes with our UK clients that drive real change for better patient outcomes. You will:
- Oversee Incisive Health’s relationships with major life sciences clients, providing advice on policy, strategy and advocacy, drawing on your extensive experience of driving change in the NHS and working with industry
- Drive new business growth, including leading pitches and creating organic opportunities
- Maintain a broad network of contacts, identifying opportunities for business growth and cultivating relationships with potential clients across healthcare sectors
- Lead project teams in the delivery of expert policy intelligence and high-quality programme delivery
- Help to shape the company’s long-term strategy through participation in Incisive Health’s senior leadership team
- Support the professional development of colleagues across the business
- Work with the London Operational Committee to guide policies and decisions impacting resourcing and team welfare in the London office where you will be based
Who You Are

- Extensive experience building collaborations and partnerships for policy advocacy, utilising different communications and digital channels
