To develop this ongoing culture and capability, Nest Invest are currently looking to recruit an experienced Director of Investment Technology and Data. This pivotal role will shape and lead the delivery of our technology and data strategy, be responsible for Nest Invest’s technology and data architecture, and manage the Nest Invest technology and data function. Additionally, the role has responsibility for working with the Nest Corporation CTOO in relation to organisation-wide technology and data, ensuring this aligns with the Nest-wide view. Alongside responsibility for working with the Nest Corporation Data, Analytics & Customer Insight (‘DACI’) team on key overlap areas such as Data Governance Frameworks, Quality Assurance practices and Use Cases that involve scheme data.
This role will be integral to shaping the future for Nest Invest through continuous technology improvement, innovation, and effective management of technology and data resources, with the ideal candidate possessing both technical expertise and strategic vision, excited by the prospect of playing an impactful role across the Executive function.
The Person
We are seeking an accomplished technology and data executive who can showcase relevant investment sector expertise alongside highly developed business and people leadership skills. In addition, the successful candidate will have a genuine interest in joining a purpose led organisation with a tangible public benefit.
Executive ability is important, contributing to the broader business strategy and establishing the right technology and data culture and capabilities for the business.
You will have a keen interest and ability in inspiring, developing and leading high performing teams, both in house and third-party partners, along with nurturing and coaching the leadership talent of the future.
Proven ability to develop and drive adoption of technology and data capabilities for a fast evolving investment management business is important. Experience with Bloomberg, Aladdin and CEPRES an advantage.
