We’re seeking a future team member for the role of
Director, Major Incident Management to join our team. This role is located in
Manchester.
In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:
- Collaborate with multiple teams responsible for delivery of infrastructure services that include ITSM, major incident management, process improvement, system integration and implementation, and technology resiliency activities.
- Oversee the requirements, planning, organizing, and implementation of enterprise-wide technology applications, infrastructure, and/or services.
- Oversee Command-and-Control and coordination of incidents and critical events and leads technology resiliency activities and processes.
- Ensure appropriate staffing and organizational structures are in place for assigned groups.
- Participate in defining Production Services strategy.
- Maintain senior-level business and operations relationships to ensure business needs are addressed.
- Guide strategic projects consistent with long-range Production Services plans.
- Partner with appropriate parties to improve efficiency, effectiveness, productivity, and/or control.
- Support and develop team members to maximize their collective contributions.
- Foster a collaborative environment that encourages professional growth and development.
- Contribute to the achievement of related teams' objectives.
- People Leadership requirement: Guide and support teams to maximize their collective contributions, encourage professional growth, and foster a collaborative environment.
To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience required; advanced degree preferred.
- Experience in the securities or financial services industry is a plus.
- Experience in managing global, medium, or large-sized teams of direct and indirect reporting Production Services ICs and Managers.
