Director of Enforcement – The Pensions Regulator

The Pensions Regulator is seeking a Director of Enforcement to lead a critical function at a pivotal time for the pensions sector. As the industry undergoes significant change, with consolidation and new regulatory demands, TPR is strengthening its risk‑based and high‑performance approach, offering a rare opportunity to shape how TPR protects the retirement outcomes of millions of savers.

The Director of Enforcement will ensure those managing pension schemes meet their legal duties and uphold strong governance. The role leads a multidisciplinary team, oversees complex investigations, and contributes directly to TPR’s statutory objectives.

Working closely with senior leaders, the Director will align enforcement activity with organisational strategy, address emerging risks, and help embed new regulatory approaches.

We’re looking for an exceptional senior leader with a strong track record in enforcement, investigations, and stakeholder engagement. Someone who can bring authority, clarity, and strategic insight to a function that is critical to public confidence in pensions.
