As Director of Fundraising, you will be a key member of our senior leadership team delivering on the strategic objectives of the charity with responsibility for raising £4m this financial year in voluntary income for the Childhood Trust across trusts & foundations, corporates, major donors and community.
Delivering growth year-on-year to support the ambitious plans of the organisation. Directly managing three ‘Heads Of’ fundraising roles, you will create a new fundraising strategy, steer the fundraising team’s activities, secure funding, and cultivate relationships that fuel our mission.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
Strategy
Design and deliver on an effective fundraising strategy and engagement plan to meet fundraising targets agreed with the CE, attracting new donors and stewarding and securing repeat donations from existing funders.
Team leadership
Nurture, motivate and develop an ambitious and growing team culture to achieve stretching targets
Stewardship
Enhance and champion a proactive, sector leading cultivation and stewardship programme
Reporting and processes
Further develop and execute robust fundraising processes and procedures based on data excellence
