This high-profile role means leading the strategic delivery of housing across our great city. You will shape and lead a new housing function, work closely with the executive and Mayoral teams, and influence across the council and our partners. Your leadership will embed a new operating model to make services more preventative , cost effective, and resident focused. From attracting investment to championing housing needs across the Greater Manchester Combined Authority region, you will be the voice for Salford.
You will need to be a strategic leader with deep knowledge of housing and its social and regulatory challenges. More than that, you will bring curiosity, resilience, and courage to confront tough issues while keeping the people of Salford at the heart of everything you do.
