We are now recruiting to the Operational Director of Finance post to join the London Regional Director of Finance (RDoF) as part of the senior finance leadership team for secondment cover (5-6 months). This role is responsible for all aspects of operational finance, supporting financial performance across London systems. There is phenomenal talent across our finance community and this could be an opportunity for a senior accountant who is looking to take the next step of their career or looking for a change to experience a different sector within healthcare finance.
The Ideal Candidate Will Be
- CCAB qualified with extensive experience and full up to date membership and continuing professional development
- Experience at Deputy Director of Finance or equivalent level in the NHS or other public healthcare related industry
- Significant experience of large scale short, medium and long-term planning and performance management processes- supporting both organisations which are succeeding and those which are failing
- Excellent leadership skills which positively motivate, empower and engage staff with a clear vision and shared goals
- Values diversity and difference operating with integrity and openness
This role provides a great prospect for the post holder to work on the bigger picture and get exposure to a wide range of issues and contribute to a range of initiatives across 5 local systems and supporting all organisations to meet our financial objectives. The post holder will also have significant exposure to senior regional and national colleagues as well as deputising for the RDoF across a range of financial matters.
