Director of Operations | London based
The Director of Operations will lead the execution, delivery, and growth of IoT Tribe’s
technology acceleration programmes, focusing primarily on our best-in-class NATO DIANA
and MoD Janus Accelerator and overseeing new strategic initiatives. This is an exciting,
London-based role for a proven leader with deep knowledge of the tech and corporate
landscape, tasked with ensuring operational excellence, new business growth, and strong
stakeholder engagement across the UK and internationally.
Core Purpose
Drive the operational and commercial success of the IoT Tribe accelerator programmes by:
• Overseeing high-standard programme delivery for startups, scale-ups, and partners.
• Building strategic relationships across corporate and public sector ecosystems.
• Identifying new growth opportunities and scaling operational capacity.
• Ensuring data-led management and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
• Operational Excellence: Direct the effective delivery of the DASA/DIANA Accelerator
Programme. Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring programme objectives,
timelines, and quality standards are met. Develop and drive compliance with SOPs and
other mandatory procedures, including our Information Management Security
System.
• Platform Building: Lead on the build out and use of the Tribe Platform across our
programmes.
• Stakeholder Management: Establish and nurture deep relationships with key
stakeholders. Represent IoT Tribe at industry events, enhancing its brand and market
influence.
• Resource Management: Assess and allocate team resources to ensure coverage of
all deliverables and optimal efficiency using Productive and HubSpot.
• Financial Oversight: Hold P&L accountability, tracking spend and aligning resources
to maximize value.
• Team Development: Recruit, motivate, and manage high-performing teams of peers
to consistently deliver outstanding results.
• Data-Driven Management: Compile, analyse, and report on key programme metrics
to inform decision-making and support continuous improvement.
• Commercial Growth: Identify and secure high-value partnerships with corporate and
public sector clients. Support negotiations, client presentations, proposals, and
partnership agreements.
Requirements
Education : MBA/BSc or higher
Experience : Minimum 10 years in management and business development in tech
Network :Extensive contacts in the UK & European tech/corporate sectors
Communication : Exceptional written and verbal English; C-level stakeholder management
Commercial Acumen : P&L management, closing complex sales, securing contracts
Technical Knowledge : Deep understanding of technology adoption and corporate innovation; experience of working on low-code platforms and other technology tools to improve and streamline delivery.
Analytical Skills :Data analysis, process improvement, solution articulation

Language: Native English (second language advantageous)
