We are looking for a Director of Performance Marketing to join our Digital Advisory team on a full-time permanent basis in the UK.
Help us turn smart media into scalable growth.
Job Purpose
As Director of Performance Marketing, you’ll build the engine that drives acquisition, conversion, and retention across multiple business lines.
You’ll partner with local teams to elevate performance, guide strategic investment, and translate data into action. This role is less about campaign delivery and more about enabling repeatable, scalable growth across our digital portfolio.
Our Team
You’ll be joining our Digital Advisory team - a collaborative group focused on enabling digital excellence across Bauer. You’ll work closely with colleagues in CRM, Social, Brand, and Data, as well as local market teams across the UK and Europe.
What you’ll be doing
- Build a scalable performance marketing strategy aligned with commercial goals.
- Identify repeatable models of success and scale them across markets and brands.
- Foster a test-and-learn performance culture based on KPIs and ROI thinking.
- Partner with in-market teams to elevate local execution and share best practices.
- Create playbooks, templates, and training programs to build capability.
- Lead paid media strategy across search, social, programmatic, affiliate, and influencer channels.
- Collaborate with CRM, Social, and Brand teams to align messaging and activation.
- Refine targeting, landing pages, creative, and bidding strategies.
- Define and align performance KPIs across the funnel.
- Enhance attribution models and build unified reporting dashboards.
- Provide actionable insights that link campaign outcomes to business impact.
What you’ll bring
- Extensive experience in digital marketing, including strategic leadership roles.
- Experience in high-volume, direct-response environments (e.g., eCommerce, subscriptions, consumer apps).
- Deep knowledge of paid digital channels and optimisation techniques.
- Proven ability to enable decentralised teams and improve marketing capability.
- Strong commercial acumen and confidence with performance metrics and revenue models.
- Collaborative, low-ego operator who influences through trust and expertise.
