What the Director, Patient and Site Engagement does
The Patient and Site Engagement Director applies their therapeutic expertise and experience in Patient support solutions and is tasked with defining, embedding and scaling Patient focused planning into Worldwide’s strategic approach to study planning and successful delivery. This role will oversee implementation of best practice approaches for the Patient engagement team and be responsible for innovation in the patient and site engagement and support setting. The Patient and Site Engagement Director will be responsible for embedding optimized processes into Worldwide’s capabilities to support new business pursuits and to ensure studies are set up for successful delivery. The role will enable and manage collaborative interactions both internal and external – to generate indication level and clinical trial-specific insights across our portfolio of trials, to ensure we have a systematic approach to assessing potential barriers to study participation and that tailored patient and site support strategies are recommended and incorporated into the solutions that Worldwide develops for our customers. This role requires experience in setting new processes and will act as a thought leader for Worldwide – the Director of Patient and Site Engagement will establish close partnerships across internal and external stakeholders, defining “best practice approaches” to ensure detailed understanding of the patient journey are incorporated into our new business pursuits and so that site-specific needs related to patient engagement, recruitment and retention, are effectively communicated and where possible any risks are reduced with appropriate support or mitigating actions clearly defined and articulated.
