About Skyscanner
Everyone loves travelling, but planning it? Not so much. That’s why we’ve spent 20 years building tools that turn travel-planning chaos into a breeze. Today, around 100 million travellers count on us every month to skip the whole “47 browser tabs open” phase and find flights, cars, and hotels quickly and easily.
Joining Skyscanner means becoming part of a global brand that's striving to become the planet’s go-to travel hack accessible for all. Our vision? To be the world’s number one travel ally. (Ambitious? Yes, but, hey, that’s what got us here.)
Now, we’re on the lookout for a
Director of Product Management – SEO & Performance Marketing to help us unlock transformational growth through performance-driven product innovation.
About The Role
(Hybrid)
We’re seeking an experienced product leader to define and drive our global
performance marketing product strategy — spanning SEO, SEM, Display, Metasearch, Affiliates, and Martech. You’ll own the roadmap for our audience growth engine, working cross-functionally to embed performance marketing into the product lifecycle and unlock high-quality traffic at scale.
You’ll lead a high-performing team and drive strategic collaboration across Engineering, UX, Content and Marketing. This is a highly visible, high-impact leadership role ideal for someone who blends technical acumen, analytical rigour and user-first thinking — and who thrives in fast-paced environments.
What you’ll be doing
- Driving product strategy: You’ll own and evolve a comprehensive performance marketing roadmap aligned to business goals and long-term growth targets.
- Embedding performance principles: You’ll collaborate with engineering, UX, and marketing teams to integrate performance marketing into the heart of our product development cycle.
- Leading with insight: You’ll use tools like Google Ads, Analytics, Search Console, SEMrush and Ahrefs to inform decisions, prioritise work, and track impact across acquisition channels.
- Owning growth outcomes: You’ll be responsible for organic and paid traffic performance, leading complex initiatives such as large-scale international site migrations.
- Innovating for scale: You’ll identify new product opportunities that amplify acquisition across the funnel, advocating for user-first enhancements that meet performance goals.
- Leading a world-class team: You’ll mentor and grow a talented team working across SEO, SEM, Display, Metasearch, Affiliates and Martech — creating a culture of collaboration, autonomy, and experimentation.
About You
- Senior product expert: You bring 10+ years of product management experience, with a proven track record in driving organic traffic and performance marketing success.
- Strong team leader: You’ve built, scaled, and inspired product teams, creating clarity and momentum across functions.
- Growth and performance mindset: You’re fluent in traffic acquisition, from SEO and SEM to display and affiliate — and you’ve delivered meaningful business results.
- Strategic collaborator: You align diverse stakeholder groups and influence cross-functionally at senior levels with confidence and clarity.
- Data-obsessed: You use experimentation, testing, KPIs and research to guide product thinking and prioritise what matters.
- Operationally excellent: You’ve delivered complex product initiatives at scale in fast-paced environments, ideally in ecommerce, marketplace or content-heavy settings.
Preferred Skills
- Relevant degree: You hold an undergraduate degree in engineering, mathematics, finance, or an MBA.
- SEO technical fluency: You understand HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and web infrastructure as it relates to SEO optimisation.
- Global experience: You’ve worked on international SEO and multi-language site strategy.
- Agile and adaptable: You’re well-versed in agile product management and managing complex project portfolios.
