Director Supply Chain Planning

Our client is a global leader in the FMCG sector and are looking for a Director to join their business do to internal progression. They offer a fast-paced and supportive environment with significant opportunities for career growth.

As the Supply Chain Planning Director, you will lead a large team responsible for all raw material planning across the EMEA region. This is a strategic role with a significant financial impact. You will also drive the transformation of planning systems and processes, shaping the future of the supply chain function within the organisation.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of planning professionals.
• Oversee material planning across the EMEA region.
• Ensure material availability to meets target.
• Minimise costs related to product obsolescence and expedited transport.
• Collaborate with procurement to manage and improve supplier performance.
• Lead the transformation of material planning systems, including SAP.
• Represent the team in the sales and operations planning process.
• Manage planning for new product development projects.
• Set and manage raw material inventory targets and strategy.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a senior planning role within FMCG.
• Strong leadership skills, with experience managing senior managers.
• Expertise in planning for international markets, particularly EMEA.
• Excellent analytical skills to provide meaningful business insights.
• Ability to plan and prioritise multiple complex projects effectively.
• Experience operating and influencing at a strategic level.
• A degree or equivalent practical experience in a relevant field.

This is a hybird role where you will be expected to be in the office 50% of the time.

The salary bracket is from £80,000 - £90,000 + car allowance, bonus and benefits.
