To work as an integral part of the Institutional Distribution team to further develop our AUM and revenues for both existing and new to L&G clients.

What you’ll be doing:

• Supporting the Solutions distribution team and Active Fixed Income team in all activities including sales, product development and strategy
• Managing pipelines including running reports and managing Salesforce
• Managing internal and external stakeholders
• Contributing to research meetings with consultants to achieve or maintain buy ratings across product sets, working closely with distribution and investment team colleagues
• Responding to internal and external queries, requests for information and data, resolving queries fully and efficiently and in a timely manner
• Developing your understanding of L&G’s clients, products and services in order to be able to have conversations with clients/consultants on L&G’s unique proposition
• Maintaining excellent working relationships around key business areas at all times
• Treating Customers Fairly (TCF)
  
  

Who we’re looking for:

• Good foundation knowledge of primary solution asset sleeves (B&M and LDI) and early understanding of derivative overlays and OCIO
• Good foundation knowledge of active fixed income solutions
• Knowledge of current investment market and economic issues
• Awareness and desire to build external investment consultant and professional trustee network
• Experience within the investment management industry including providing an exceptional level of client service and sales support
• Knowledge of UK pension fund liabilities and assumptions
• Early knowledge and understanding of different fund structure
• Ability to field questions from consultants – directly and with support from partner teams
