Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role located in Southampton for a Distribution Linesman. The Distribution Linesman will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical power distribution systems. Day-to-day tasks include working on overhead and underground power lines, operating heavy equipment, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and collaborating with other team members to ensure efficient power distribution. Additionally, the role involves routine inspections, outage management, and emergency response duties.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of Electricity and Power Distribution
- Experience in operating Heavy Equipment
- 11kV to 66kV as well as 132kV lattice steel tower experiance
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- willingness to work in emergecy conditions and storm responce.
- Willingness to travel as required.
