ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking a highly analytical and commercially astute Divisional Finance Manager to support the financial operations and strategic direction of our division, encompassing a growing portfolio of events. This pivotal role will lead financial consolidation, manage divisional overheads, and serve as a key strategic partner to the Divisional Finance Director.
This is a high-impact, individual contributor role with broad exposure across the business. You will play a central part in divisional planning, forecasting, and performance analysis, while helping to shape investment decisions.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Divisional Financial Consolidation
Take ownership of financial consolidation and reporting across a growing portfolio of 11 events, ensuring the accurate and timely delivery of divisional financial results.
Overhead Management
Lead the budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis of divisional overheads. Collaborate with key functional stakeholders to ensure effective cost control and alignment with business objectives.
FP&A Leadership
Drive all financial planning and analysis activities for the division, including budgeting cycles, reforecasts, and long-term strategic planning.
Strategic Finance Partnership
Work closely with the Divisional Finance Director on high-impact initiatives such as business model reviews, cost optimisation projects, and M&A activities.
Cross-Functional Business Partnering
Collaborate across commercial, operations, and corporate finance teams to support key strategic decisions and ensure financial targets are aligned across the business.
Management Reporting & Insights
Deliver high-quality management reports and presentations to executive leadership and investors. Provide clear financial insights, KPI dashboards, and performance commentary to drive decision-making.
Ad-Hoc Financial Analysis
Support the Finance Director and leadership team with scenario planning, investment evaluations, and the preparation of insightful financial materials. Contribute to improving financial forecasting accuracy and the performance tracking of individual events, ensuring alignment with divisional goals.
